Insurance
In the state of Alaska, it is quite common to have acupuncture included as part of your insurance benefits. Generally you will not need any prior authorization or a doctor's referral to receive treatment. City, state and federal employees are typically covered, as well as those working for the Anchorage School District or those covered through many of our state's small businesses or self-insured plans. If you are covered, I will bill your insurance company on your behalf as a courtesy. However, unless otherwise arranged, full payment is due at the time of treatment. I am a Blue Cross Preferred Provider.
Time of Service Fees and Discounts
For those without insurance coverage, I offer a time-of-service discount of $150.00 for the initial consultation and treatment and $110.00 for follow-up treatments. Additionally, I can occasionaly work with people on a need-based sliding scale. Please call to inquire whether your circumstances qualify. I also offer military and senior citizen discounts.
